About This

• Flowers: Velvet Queen is a showstopper with its red-orange blooms. The flowers themselves open up to a wide 6 to 8 inches in diameter and go great in bouquets and floral arrangements. An excellent cut flower!
• Growth: Velvet Queen Sunflowers will grow to a mature height of roughly 5 to 8 feet tall and can spread out a good 18 inches wide. They are easily established in the Spring for Summer blooms.
• Butterfly Garden: These flowers are perfect for a butterfly garden. They will attract all sorts of butterflies with their large blooms and can also attract other pollinators, such as bumblebees, honeybees, ladybugs and more.
