• Meet Philodendron Tortum! The Philodendron Tortum is relatively new to the plant world! This thin, spindly plant can be found on the forest floors of Brazil, so they love dappled, indirect light, high humidity, and well-draining soil. Water when the first 3-4" of soil is dry. Add water slowly and thoroughly enough to see liquid draining from the bottom of the pot.
• Look at this beauty! There are two types of philodendron plants the vining plants and the non climbing plants. The vining philodendron will look and grow similarly to a pothos plant. Although they look similar philodendron plants have heart shaped leaves while pothos have larger, thicker and waxier leaves. Philodendrons are fast growing and easy plants, making them an excellent choice for your home.
• Tortum! Avoid direct light on the foliage as this will cause it to burn. Philodendrons like soil with good drainage. The ideal temperature for a philodendron is between 65 – 78° F during the day, and around 60° F at night.
